Capital One Prepaid Debit Card
Rip-off, Wheres My Money?

I have had a capital one prepaid debit card for a long time, and have had my direct deposit from my paycheck going into it each payday, (by-weekly)

I last logged into my account on february 17th, and looked at my balance, the next day was payday and my scheduled ACH direct deposit was due to go into the account, I tried to log in and a message highlighted in red text said "There is a problem with your account, please call customer service at toll-free at 1-800-574-0025". I called them and was told that "due to a change in venders" all capital one prepaid accounts had been closed on the 16th of february and notices had been sent to all cardholders, and any funds left in the account would be mailed by check to cardholders on or before march 10, I asked what my balance was and they told me... It was $18.74 and the same balance I had the day before my direct deposit of $800.00

They told me to check with my employer that the funds were sent, I did... Several times, and the funds have not come back to my employer, The employer said the funds were sent and accepted by capital one prepaid with the same routing number and account number we had always used.

I have called back capital one prepaid several times and they keep telling me they don't have the funds, and NOW their recording states that any funds on deposit will be paid to cardholders on or before APRIL 23rd..., so I called the vender who handled capital ones prepaid cards... netSPEND, and they pulled up my account information and told me the same thing, that they have never recieved my $800.00 and to check with my employer... I asked for a supervisor, and was immediately put on hold... For over an hour until I got fed up and hung up...

Rediculous!!!

Where is my money? My employer doesn't have it, and capital one prepaid and netspend both deny having recieved it?

I needed that money bad as I am disabled with lots of debts... To have that much money just disappear is a crushing blow to me financially.

What do I do? Can anybody tell me what to do to get my money back?
