Fitness Magazine first send me an e-mail confirmation of my subscription to their magazine. I promptly e-mailed them back informing them that I did not subscribe to their magazine and that this was an error. Several weeks passed and I received an invoice for $16.97 for 22 issues of their magazine.
I sent an e-mail to them again stating that this was a fradulent bill and I did not request or authorize this subscription. Then I went on-line to consumer complaintss and find that others have had the same experience. One person gave out a phone number to call (800-888-1181) which I called and they could give me no details as to who signed me up for this subscription, but promptly said they would cancel. I told them it was in their best interest to do so, since I filed a report with the Des Moines chapter of the Better Business Bureau about their fradulent billing practices.
