I was on yahoo IM one day and someone i didnt know IM'd me and invited me to a website, stating that they needed "votes" to help them out. I thought i was no dummy so i made sure this wasnt a "bot"...

(Bot: An automated response IM)

This person assured me that they werent and even opened a voice chat in the IM to confirm they were real. I was bored and had nothing better to do, so i decided to help this person out and "vote".

I followed the instructions givin to me and i was suppost to sign up for a website in order to vote. I was uneasy doing this, especially since i had to use my credit Card for age verification. This person assured me that it was only for age verification and i wouldnt get charged anything. But i did read on the website that if i didnt cancel the subscription within 3 days, i would be charged $40 each month.

I signed up dispite my better judgment and once i did, this person said this was my "Lucky Day", and just for signing up i would get a "free gift". All i had to do was input my CC info one more time for "age verification". I said NO WAY at that, seeing the $50 renewing charge every month at the bottom of the site.

The person started cussing at me and got completely rude when i informed them i was declining the "free gift". This was just the begining of my problems...

Once i was done arguing with this person i decided to go back to the website and cancel the subscription right away before the 3-day "free trial" was over and before they charged me the renewal fee of $40.

3 days later i look on my CC statment and sure enough there was a $40 charge on it from "PLANETV" and giving me this number as a customer support center:

1-800-934-1875

Upon calling the number to find out why they charged me even though i canceled before the 3-day time limit was up; They told me that they "No longer support PLANETV" and that they cant help me at all.

After an hour of arguing and being put on hold, i finally hung up and called back. I then got the same answers and redirection of my questions. They have no idea why they are listed as the support center for PLANETV.

I go onto the websites they told me to go on and it shows im "Canceled". So why am i still being billed?! Why wont they give me my money back?! Why dont they know anything about PLANETV?!

They said that they USED TO support PLANETV, but no longer do. It would be understandable not to have all the merchants you worked with change their support numbers is you JUST stopped working with them a few days ago. But upon looking on Usa Consumer Complaints.com, this has been happening since 2007!!!

How can i fix this issue and get my money back?! How can i stop them from continually charging me every month? This company is obviously a Fraud and needs to be taken down! NOW!

Then they tried to send me to this phone number for Customer service:

All this number is, is an automated run-around machine. You never speak to a real person and it tells you to go online for customer help. Then online they do nothing but what the phone does... Give you the Run-around and redirect questions.

Can anyone help me out?! Im looking to bring these people down now! How are they still able to do this after 3 years?!?!?!
