On October 22 I wired Shop Flip Flops $5250.00 for a wholesale order of 681 pairs of Havaiana flip flops. Over the last 4 months I have exchanged more than 200 emails with Alan, Kent and Jessica Mends trying to get my order shipped or my money refunded. On 9 different occasions, starting in November they have stated that my order has shipped. It never did. They refuse to refund me. I have all the emails saved, the wire document from the bank and my order available for proof if anyone would like to see it. Today, 16 weeks later, Shop Flip Flops not only has blocked my email address, but has sent me another "update" stating that they will not be refunding my money or sending my order because I have shared this horrible experience with several complaint centers online, and I must get an attorney in Panama to fight this out in court! Not once has there been any delinquent acts on my behalf. I have had many people contacting me due to my postings about Shop Flip Flops and they all have the same complaints... They sent the money, didn't receive their order, waited months and months, do not get replies to most of their emails, nothing but excuses in the emails that were replied to, partial orders finally shipped, blatant lies, etc. This has to stop. They have stole my money! How else can this be classified? It is theft.
