I visited my local Wal-Mart. The store was a mess. I actually went in there for something very specific... Heaters and fire wood.
So, I grabbed a few items I did not intend on getting, make my way to the mess of a heater isle. I picked a heater and checked that the brand was the same brand over the pice tag. The price tag matched the brand of the heaters over it and said $25. I took my items to the counter and the heater rand up $40. I notified the cashier, she went over and checked the sign, agreed with me and called her manager. The manager come over and goes up the isle with the cashier, they are back there for 10 mins while the line gets longer. She come back up front and says the heater is ringing up the correct price. I walk up the isle with her and she points put that there is a mixture of heaters over the sign... All the same brand. I tell her the tag matches the brand that I picked and she stated that if the majority of the heaters were housed over the sign, she would give it to me for that price. 2 more heaters were over the sign (other than the one I picked) and she pointed to two other heaters of the same models housed in two seperate locations... And neither one of them were over signs stating the same brand of heaters. If 3 heaters were housed over the sign and two other ones were in two other random non-relating spots... The majority (which was the three) was indeed over the sign. When I pointed that out she stated "I ain't giving it to you".
Class act.
She also had a hand written tag.
I called a manager from another Walmart and she stated that the manager at the least was supposed to give you $3 off but I was actually right that I should have received the advertised price.
It doesn't matter now, they lost my business and Target treated me much better (and had better items... And got more money than I was going to spend at Wal-mart).
