What can I say about Universal Online Promotions, well hmmm, let me just start by saying I decided to go out of my way to write this report to help the next sucker who may just find that BS ad on
craigslist/monster/careerbuilder w/e.
I found a report on this site before I went on my interview, and when I brought it to their attention they said it was from a disgruntled employee who had a bad experience with the company, seemed like a legit answer, WRONG, that person was trying to warn me and I did not listen.
So listen up - because they bring you under their wing and treat you like a superstar unless you suck and they just let you go or your decent and they want to get you promoted.
When i say suck or decent at - I mean at walking around in the freezing cold for 8 hours a day trying to distract and even find business owners to SCAM energy services or w/e crap they are selling, the only way I could make a sale was by lying! And I know they all do it because who do you think trained me! Made me feel like real shit when I got home!
If you are good they are going to pretend to be your best friend and want you to get promoted - you will want to get promoted too, it seems cool, why not who doesnt want a promotion - WRONG
This promotion is bulls*t, you dont get anymore pay, you get less pay and I will explain how - not only do you have to come in earlier and leave later, but you have to go out and train people who can potentially blow or take credit for your sale. The reason they have you do this and don't offer you more money is so you can "build a team" but the truth is they just want more people to be around so by the time you realize the truth, get a real job and quit, they will still have morons sitting rather STANDING around to do their bulls*t work.
Pay - you get paid almost nothing, pay for your own cellphone minutes, own subway tickets, and on a business trip I spent more then I made, such BS. The managers take a % of your commission, and some people even cancel their order before you get paid so all your hard work is POOF gone. They require you to wear a suit everyday - I spent more in drycleaning then I made at work.
The issue really comes down to respect, how are you going to ask people to showup in a suit everyday that they can not afford to get cleaned. How are you going to FORCE people to showup from 8am-10am to be apart of the morning atmosphere like a f&kin garden gnome, where they force you to STAND - even though you have to be on your feet all day anyway.
How can you be late to an office that you do not work for. If the office does not pay me to do work, then I do not work for them. I walk my a* around Manhattan all day trying to sell shit for other companies who pay me, so in my opinion I pay myself which should make me my own boss, so how can I get s*t for being late??? You are not paying me anything to be on time!!!
The managers show no respect for the employees, they offer all these possible promotions if you do all of these tasks, but these tasks are not really ever able to be completed w/o permission - see the scam!
If you have a bad day, make no sales, they point it out to everyone in the company and say how you suck, they make you stand when your tired, even though you have to walk all day, and they treat people they don't even pay like dogs, barking demands! F%CK ALL THE MANAGERS AT UNIVERSAL ONLINE PROMOTIONS - you are liars, cheats, scammers, and just cold - SHOW SOME RESPECT TO THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE ACTUALLY DOING THIS S*T FOR YOU
And dont give them shit about being late or sick, why do you think they are sick - out in the cold 24/7 - no remorse - come in for morning atmosphere even if your sick then go home - you managers are CRAZY - your own loyal employees YOUR FRIENDS! Agree with me.
These managers are just CON MEN who are now in a position of authority, they use these cons to trick people into thinking they will make a lot of money and start a career when in reality they are taking you for a ride, making more off of you then you will ever make from them!
Please believe me - i would not write all this if it was not true
