This company is a complete fraud, in particular Senior loan officer, Joseph Dellorusso. I was looking to refinance my mortgage and contacted several mortgage companies. I was contacted by Mr. Dellorusso regarding refinancing my mortgage and he scheduled an appointment at my house. He requested all my information and asked for a check for the appraisal of my home. When i asked him if i could have my lawyer with me he stated i ddin't need a lawyer.
He seemed very aggressive, but since I was familiar with Somerset advertisements in the Newspaper I figured it was a legitimate business. Boy was I mistaken; I asked Mr. Dellorusoo for good faith estimate on my loan, which he failed to provide until all the paperwork was sign and it was too late. Upon receiving the good faith estimate I saw that I was charged 18,774.73 fas a prepaid finance charge.
Shortly after the loan was signed and processed, it was sold to Countrywide. I feel rippedoff because I was charged 18,774.73 to process paperwork. I failed to do my due dilligence and was taken to the cleaners. Don't let this happen to you by these bloodsuckers. Beware of Somerset Mortgage Lenders? Mortgage Bankers
