Counterforce composed of incredibly irresponsible criminals! They accept no responsibility for their lack of service while they continue to charge me for non existent security monitoring. They auto deduct from my bank account every month but they have not been providing monitoring service for over a year ever since they bought out Guardian and failed to transfer my service.
When I discovered this (by accident) they said I had to pay for a subcontractor tech to come out, even though I have been paying $6 a month additional service fee. The tech said the phone line was never hooked up in the first place!!! The cell back up was not being recognized by Counterforce. It was working fine, but a new one was needed that worked with their system.
Two days later Counterforce called and said a new unit had to be ordered, I would get it in the mail, and then pay for another tech service call to put it in. Meanwhile I am still paying them and I still have no service whatsoever. As for the phone line not being hooked up in the first place, they said, not our problem, even though they bought the company that did it.
Meanwhile I cant get out of my stinking contract. I recommend you use an immediately local service that does the install and the monitoring also locally, so there is a real person to communicate with who is in your city. At least they would be less likely to blow you off as a total sucker.
