I am sick and tired of them constant phone calls and them coming to my house to collect payments out of uniform. They do show up in a Rent-A-Center Delivering Truck, but how do I know that they are employed with them?
They would start calling at 9:30am, the day that the payment was due; and every three hours until they closed and continue to call like this every day afterwards until they received a payment.
My Husband answered the phone finally after the fourth day of continous calls and asked them to quit coming to my house to collect payment. Well, that didn't help. They still do it.
When my payment came due in December we were away for two weeks for Christmas with family. When we got home I answered the phone to give them a payment since we were gone.
He stated his name and said, "Your account is due and you need to make a payment." I said, "Ok how much." He told me how much and then continued to say, "How come your two weeks overdue? Your suppose to make bi-weekly payments." I told him that we were away for Christmas.
He said, "Well, answer this question." I said, "What?" He says, "If you were away. Did you have someone watching your house?" I said, "No." He says, "Well, when I went to your house there were people there." I said, "What." He says, "Yeah, there were people inside." I said, "Well there should not have been. What were you looking in my house for?" He hung up on me.
Ever since that phone call I have been really really careful and stared out of my wits with this company.
