While reconciling our bank statement, we noticed a charge of $14.95 to AP9 shopping essentials.com. Neither of us remember signing up for anything of this name. I called the number listed in the charge on the bank statement 888-999-0564 and spoke with an agent, Sarah (#152520) and explained the situation, she said she was sorry and referred me to a supervisor, Rose (#9105). Rose said no problem and that in two days the charges would be refunded. I also had her explain how these charges are started.
We have used a site called Restaurant.com on several occasions to get discount coupons and have had no problems (we thought), I called them at 800-979-8985 and spoke with their rep, ED. His reply was more or less tough s*t, you signed up for it when you agreed to take the survey at the end of the transaction of purchasing the coupons at restaurant.com. WE just want to reinforce teh previous complaints and let the world know that the site is still at work..
