A letter was sent to my house with no return address.in the letter, it was stated that a lottery had been held on 6/28 and that I was one of six winners to split a pot of approximately 1.5 million dollars. They claimed that they failed to reach me on multiple occassions, but they enclosed a check of $4985, which was taken from my $248,000 share of the prize money. This was for the applicable tax of $3975 that I was to wire from WalMart. But I was to call a woman named Michelle Allen to verify my bank account information to receive the rest of the money. The check was not to be cashed until I called first, but I would only have a limited time. The check was from Magix Computer Products. I have not been able to verify anything or figure out anything about the unnamed place in Calgary that held this lottery.
