I have had custody of my daughter since she was 3 she is now 9.in feb of 08 my ex was suppose to come pick her up. She called and was talking to my daughter she said she got her a puppy. Then i heard her say oh i knew then she wasnt going to pick her up. Which is something that wasnt unusual anyway. She never kept a regular rutine in seeing my daughter. Never has paid kild support that she was ordered to. I always wanted to keep things as normal as possible.
So i call her back and tell her i will bring my daughter to her. Which i did. She calls me on sunday and says that my daughter got food posioning and going to take her to the doctor. I said and let me know. Come monday i called and she said she was still sick. I said keep her and let me know.
That was the last time i heard from her. On 8 of feb. I get a call from cps saying they wanted to see me on my recorder on thursday evening. Set for friday. I figured is was because my daughter hadnt been to school all week. I had told my ex to call the school and explain to them why she wasnt at school.
When cps got there at my house they said some one accused me of fondling my daughter. I was total beside myself. I couldnt get any answers from them. I have never been in any kind of trouble in my life and for this to happen devistated me. As time went on i sign a 30 day deal where i couldnt see or talk to my daughter. They wanted me to sign it after the 30 days were up i said no. Amanda kennedy the first case worker was very rude she threaten to have me arrested if i didnt sign. Her supervisor threaten to take my child out of my home. Which that already happen since her mother didnt bring her back.
I had called the sherrifs depart for months trying to get a hold of the officer in charge to only get a voice recording. Finally i went to the department and found him. All this that was suppose to take place was at christmas of 07. Well she was with her mother at christmas and i was out of town. It says in the affidavit that she missed school that day well i have the records stating she miss no school and i missed no work in december. 2 case workers had enterviewed my daughter she gave 2 different stories in 3 days. Her mother put her up to it. And at this time my brother was going thru a divorce and his ex had told him she was going to get his whole family in trouble. She has called cps on my 2 sistier and my brothwer and me as well.
During the time my ex wife had my daughter she put her in 5 different schools started staying with her mother in a cps status hearing i found this out. And i told cps then that her mother was a drunk and that her husband just got out of prison. One of the county attorneys who was there told cps to get my daughter. She now has been living with my niece and her husband for 7 months. Her mother is a flight risk so now all she gets is supervised visits. And yet i cant see her at all. On a recent cps status hearing. I told them they were trying to alignate me from my daughter.
They said they would set up a visit with the counselor. And they on 11-04. But before that date came cps called me and said jesica edwards (cps attorney) wasnt at the hearing and wasnt going to allow it. All this time my daughter gets up at night crying missing me and wantting to see me.
I had my attorney set a court date so i could see my daughter. We had the counselor supinned. She had asked my daughter if she wanted to she me in front of my niece and she said yes. But when we went to court the counselor lied and said no. One interesting thing was that my brother went with me and everytime my attorney asked a question jesica edwards was shaking her head yeas and no we didnt see it or didnt know until after the heari
This is a horrible story to be i pray that an innocent father can get his daughter back. There is much more to this story it would take me forever to write. For im doing this at wk. I wish i could write a book or make a moving about how cps works and their attorneys plus the cps paid for counselors.
In fighting this battle i have lost my home and have just about everything i own to pay for my attorny fees and its not over yet. Attorney still thinks they are going to try to arrest me. Even though they have all the evidence that disovled the affidavit. I cant believe how cps and thier people work it like they are a bunch of communist. They have one way of looking at things and your automacticly guilty. Anybody can call in on people and the hell begins.
I know that there are kids being abused god forbide the people that do that. All i ever wanted in life was a family. My ex ended that by cheating on me and trying to destroy my daughter and my self. But im am strong i will fight this till my last breath. I will not bow down to cps or anyone else.
One last staement fathers fight for your kids its a war out there where cps thinks all kids should go to the mothers. Stand your ground most men are the same we dont need much in life just to see our kids grow to see them happy.
And to that daddy will always be there for them when things are good and things are tough dads will always be there.
