Option One Or AHMSI
I was forced to go into bankrupcy to save my home from foreclosure

I purchased my home back in '06 and used Option One for 100% financing, 20/80. Earlier this year I lost my job and decided to venture out on my own.in the process my husband was relocated losing a consciderable amount of income and we were forced to live and maintain two seperate households. Because of all that I fell behind on my mortgage by one month. I immediatelly contacted Optionn One to try to make arrangements. I was told that partial payments were not accepted. So I inquired about having my payment tacked on to the end of my loan. I was told that they do not do that as well. My responce to that was, "Why aren't you trying to work with me when I am oviously trying to work with you. If I loose my home it will only sit there for months and you will not make any money because my whole neighborhood is practically in foreclosure". I was the told to send in all my financial information as well as a letter of hardship. I was told that it would take 30 days.in the meantime I kept sending partial payments which at this time I was two months behind because of the penalty fees I was charged. The hardship request was turned down due to lack of income. Well that would explain why I was behind on the loan in the 1st place. Soon after that I receive papers that my house was going into foreclosure. So after trying and pleading with Option One to modify my loan (by the way there customer service was always handled by foreigners who barely spoke english) and receiving harassing calls from their customer service reps I had enough and I filed for bankrupcy because that was the only way I could save my home and stop the calls. My nerves were so bad I got sick and was even hospitalized over all this. Just when I think it is over I receive a letter from Ahmsi that my loan has gone up by 300 dollars. So I might be safe from loosing my home for now but when I come out of my bankrupcy I am facing a huge mortgage payment that keeps going up. What do I do. I need some advice. Thanks
