We've gotten behind in out mortgage payments because I lost my job and can't find another. I've tried to contact AHMSI [this used to be Option One Mortgage Co.] and get an automated message. The only thing about this that works is "push 1 for English!" I need to speak to a human being and try and get some help but out of the five tries to contact this company today, I have had absolutely no luck!
I'm seeing all these other reports about AHMSI on this site and now I'm scared to death! I don't want to loose my home but how can you work something out if you can't reach your mortgage company? Why doesn't the government do something about people like this? I then tried to contact them through their web site and failed there too. They just don't want to be bothered!
I've had my home for 20 years but just refinanced 5 years ago and ended up with AHMSI... Boy do I wish I'd never done that!!! Anybody have alternative phone #'s for these people??? I need help before it get's worse, financially and now, I feel I have nowhere to turn. Suggestions?
