I was job-brousing online and saw the "call this numer to get started". Before I knew it, had checked any credentials I was giving out my bank routing number in hopes of getting some extra help finding a job in HR.
I had a sinking feelingin my gut but ignored it. I then thought it seemed way too strange and did a search. I couldn't find a website, phone number or ANY identifying information about this "company".
I redialed the number in my phone, and was given a 'customer service number' 850-560-6160. And it told me to leqave a voice mail. Outraged, I called back the original number again 1-800-320-9353 and said that I was losing patience. I was told that they were going ot send in a "visual" and would get a response faster. I didn't feel good enough about that so I called the Customer Number again. I did get an actual person, explained I wanted to cancel my order and he said it was done.
This is more of my way of documenting that I did hear these words "it wasn't even going through the system yet. You won't see this go through your bank, I promise." So, if it stands up, thenI will infact post that here. Until then - I'm really hoping that I don't see any $67 withdrawls from my checking account!
Don't be fooled - a job that requires YOU to pay before you GETpaid, is NOT a good deal. Steer clear, and stay positive in your search for a great job. Don't PAY someone else to "find one for you". Scam scam scam.
