Insurance paid for my Orthopaedic shoes (per doctor's prescription) I kept getting a bill for $274.12 I contacted U P Orthotics as to why they were billing me., They said it was for 'inserts'. Not until I tried on the shoes was I aware of any inserts and that was only when the gentleman told me to change them every month. (3 sets of thin foam rubber). I was not told there was a charge for them nor asked if I wanted them. I wrote, again saying I did not order them and would return them. My only income is Social Security and I have no assets. They did not reply and instead turned me over to CREDIT CHECK, a collection agency. Thank you for any help you can give me.
