First Liberty Management Services almost scammed me out of $3,000.00. Yesenia of Fort Worth, Texas very adequately described this rip-off. They send you an official looking check... Even my bank thought it was good... Until I requested they double-check to make sure this wasn't a scam. They advised that because I was a good customer that they would not place a hold on their check. Upon further checking, the bank advised they had reports of First Liberty Mgt. Services being a very cunning scam.
They send a check for $3954.40 and suggest that you deposit the check immediately then go "mystery shopping" to JC Penney, Radio Shack, K-Mart and the kicker was Walmart/moneygram. They wanted you to use the cash from this check to purchase a moneygram at Walmart and send it back to them. When their check gets returned to your bank... You have to eat the $2,995.00 as you sent them cash! Please, Please, Please remember...'If it sounds too good to be true, you can bet your sweet #* it is too good and you're going to pay!"
Any reputable bank will bend over backwards to assist you in determining whether these programs are legit or just another big scam.
