I came to Foot Solutions to see about orthotics. Mr. Matty Fraser went through his fittings and then told me I also needed a special shoe he would have to order. I protested and said if I did not like them I did not have to keep them. I relented but was surprised to see that I was charged for things I would not get for two or more weeks, $550 for the orthotics and $400 for the shoes.in less than 24 hours I called the store to cancel the shoes and was told I was too late, the shoes had been ordered and that I would only receive store credit. When I protested, Matty came to the phone and told me to "Trust him on this." Two weeks later the orthotics were ready and the shoes had arrived. I was fitted with the orthotics in the shoes and was told to walk around. For that short period they felt ok but upon wearing them in my house they began to hurt more and more. I brought them back and told Mr. Fraser I would like my money back because I felt I was conned into the purchase. He refused but told me he would think about it. Two days later I received a note in the mail saying I was welcome to come back for another fitting but would not get my money back. I feel I was conned into buying something I really did not want. I never pay that much for shoes. I felt the orthotics might be helpful, but they fit in very few of my shoes. That part is my fault for believing he could "fix my posture and etc." The orthotics in the shoes Mr. Fraser ordered made my foot actually feel worse.
