Recently, I noticed that an 866 number kept calling me everyday and even multiple times a day, for over a week now. It was a machine. It kept asking me to call a number back. I did not want to. It left messages on my answeriing machine, if I didn't pickup the phone. Even after I hung up on it, it did NOT take a Hint.

I allowed a week to pass by giving them more than fair amount of time to take a hint that I wasn't interested in whatever they were interested in.

Finally, I had enough of the HARRASSMENT.

So I called them. I asked for who they were, name and address. The rep told me it was Allied Interstate in North Carolina. They asked me for my name and phone number. (I did not want to, did not have to and did not give it! After all, they kept calling me, so they need to give ME that info for them, NOT the other way around!)

Then I pursued my main point with the rep. Why do they keep calling and why do they keep leaving messages even after I do not (care to) call them back. And why do that beyond a DECENT limit? Their answer was that they can and there is currently no law that sets such a limit. But now that I have called them, if I gave them my number they will take it off their calling list. I said THAT is the WHOLE POINT. People SHOULD not be forced by such harrasment to call.

So I said I want to talk to their President. They did not connect me. I told them I have time and I will just keep calling, not say anything else but keep asking to speak with their president. I did that 5-10 times continuously, giving them back their own medicine, finally THEY started hanging up on me.

I kept calling continuously. If they can do that, I can do that and it does not cost me anything (866 number!) and I have the time to give them back their own medicine.

They changed their phone system so it would reject calls from my phone number. Imagine THEM WISHING I WOULD STOP CALLING!!! Now THAT is giving back their own indecent behavior medicine BACK TO THEM.

I still kept calling. Now I would dial *67 in front of their number to get through. Each time I would VERY CHEERFULLY ask for the President and most importantly, REFUSE TO ANSWER any questions. They connected me to some higher levels employees but I just kept one REFRAIN. "I want to speak to the President, his compnay called me so I have a right to call and talk to him." This wasted a lot of phone-call charges (866 number, remember?) and their employees time (lots of money) and was not costing me anything but my time (which is free, I am retired).

I told them I have no problem, if they want to go to court, I want the judge to tell me why they can keep calling and harassing me, not taking a hint when I choose not to call back, and NOT stopping their automated calls and messages after a DECENT number of times. There is no way they can win there. After all they are just getting what they asked for! The guy is calling and wants to talk to the president. Iif he ever came on the line, first verify that he really is the president and tell him (without giving your name and number) that if his company goes around calling people (even other people) then you have a right to keep calling his company millions of times and costing him phone and employee-time costs, WITHOUT serving the purpose why his company called me. That is WITHOUT talking about or answering anything that THEY are interested in!

And do not give them your name or phone number or anything so they can take your name off their calling list. The whole purpose is to teach them to stop calling people ON THEIR OWN, after a DECENT limit of say 3 to 5 times.

If you keep doing this, every free moment you can find, ALLIED INTERSTATE will have no choice but to learn a lesson from your TIT-FOR-TAT or come to their knees with the wasted phone & employees costs and go bankrupt VERY SOON.

JUST KEEP CALLING THEM BACK with *67 on any of their numbers and just waste their time and don't give them ANY information but waste their employees time as long and as much as you can, every minute, every day, for as long and as often as you can. If we all consumers do this, people like them will suffer so much, they will wish we go away. ANd they can not use the law against you. After all they kept calling YOU first, remember? You are only doing what they asked! Now how can they complain that you are doing the same back?

All you want to do is to "I want to Talk To The President & NO ONE ELSE."

This works like a charm! They kept BEGGING me to stop calling them! IMAGINE THAT. Ha Ha Ha
