Marquez Towing, towed my car from a disabled person parking place on 10/28. I could not find a parking place close enough to the Victorville Court House so I could serve as a Jurer. I am a disabled person with Multiple Sclerosis. I am only able to walk a short distance so when I found the handicap parking place in front of the Lawyers' offices on 14420 Civic Dr, Victorville, CA, I took it thinking that a handicap parking place is for use by any disabled person that has a valid parking placard which I do. My car was towed to their Hesperia yard and a total of $215 was due in cash to get the car back. I was unable to get my car during my lunch break because they are closed between 12:00 to 1:00 PM I had to be back in the court room by 1:30 PM. If my husband had not come into town and came for lunch and my daughter-in-law had not been able to help I would not have had my car to go home. There was no notifcation of this towing or where only by asking in the lawyers' offices I would have never known. I believe this company should be put out of business for this. No one should leave a disabled person in this possition after they parked in the proper parking place.
