This company has been calling me and leaving messages on my answering machine since September, when I moved into an apartment and received a new number.
It is always a recorded message that tells me they can give any more information because of Federal and state statutes and because of the "sensitive nature" of the call. They do say it is Allied Interstate, but never who they are calling for.
They give a toll-free number to call them back (1-866-252-5308). I have not called them back, because I know I do not have any business with them.
The calls are at all times of the day, including the very early AM hours. I'm not sure what to do about getting them to stop calling and I'm not sure if calling the number back will work. Is getting an unlisted number the only way to keep them from calling?
