I too have been getting constant calls from Allied Interstate! They call every single day and leave us the same message you were getting..."please find time to return this important call... Blah blah blah." So I finally got fed up and called. After I was able to translate what this guy was saying with his thick accent, he asked me for my phone number. I refused and demanded to know who they were and why they were calling me. He again asked for my phone number. I figured why not, they obviously already had my number. I gave him our number and he began looking it up in their "system". He then claimed that our number was not in their system, they weren't calling us. I repeated the message that I come home to every single day and they very clearly stated they were calling from his company. He looked again and claimed we weren't in his system. I told him that that was impossible, they were calling us, so we were very much in their system! I asked if there were different calling centers for Allied Interstate, or were they all one company with one contact number. He stated they were all one company. He then came up with the brilliant idea to suggest he remove our phone number from their calling number list. I asked him how he could possibly remove a number from a list that he claimed our number wasn't on in the first place. He repeated himself (are these people or robots???) and stated he would have our number removed from their system. I asked him for his ID number. He stated they did not have ID numbers there, that his name was Mark. I laughed at this and told him there were probably a thousand Marks working for the company and I wanted a way to reference this call with him. He again claimed they did not have numbers. I told him that this could not be accurate (this is a little trick I learned via this website:)) He then stated that he did have an ID number, but he could not give it out to me. Of course, how silly of me to assume this is a company that follows strict privacy procedures! I hung up on him, but let them call again and I won't be so friendly on the phone this time!!!
