For 2-3 months now, I have been constantly harrassed by a collection agency called Allied Interstate. The person that keeps calling me calls herself Arnette.
To date, I have received nothing in the mail or any indication on any of the phone messages, explaining why they are calling me. They call 3-4 times a day.in the messages, I am merely ordered to call "Arnette" back. The number given is 800-791-3266.
I have enough on this company now to justify a lawsuit for harrassment. Are there any class action lawsuits out there I can join? There are several numbers I receive calls from. They are as follows: 801-618-2031,971-228-5618,775-319-1527,971-228-5613 (along with variations of these numbers with different digits in the last 4 numbers) and the best one of all, the one that is generally used to leave me messages is 000-000-0000.
These are the numbers that come up on my caller ID. All of them except the one with all zeros actually show "Allied Interstate" above the number.
I have recorded every message I have received and documented every number the calls come from, along with time, date and whether or not a message was left.in the last 2 months I have documented at least 80 calls that have been received from Allied Interstate. Any help in stopping this harrassment would be appreciated. Thank you.
