Randy Sigley is a scam artist who's main goal is to steal your money. He has a scam going with the building in downtown Colorado Springs with 3 units 27,25 and 23 North Corona Street. He tells people through Craigslist that for cheap rent often between 200 and 250 a month for the first 3 you can live in his unit with the return of 90 hours of work on the building in the 3 months of cheap rent. Then, the rent will go up to 400 to 450, still not bad, and the utilities are all prorated seeings as the building is over 100 years old and there is only one meter on the building so you will receive a monthly invoice telling you what you owe for rent, water and gas. Keep in mind the only thing run by gas is the heat and your gas can run 20 to 80 dollars for a 576 square foot apartment when you are not allowed to turn your thermostat above 70 degrees because it would be unfair to your neighbors to pay your gas bill. That makes sense, the resulting gas bill does not. Also, he never lets you see the original bill.

If you manage to make it more than a month in your unit without being illegally evicted you will start to notice how often he moves people in and out of the two units next to you. He will say things about them such as they are sex offenders, drug users, dealers, thieves, bullies; he calls the police on a regular basis and they know him well along with the court system. Randy used to be a lawyer until he was exposed for lying and embezzling from his clients. His license was then suspended and now he likes to tell people he was suspended when in fact the state just denies his claims for reinstatement because it's free where as to disbar him would cost money and he's not worth it.

If you happen to be one of the small business owners looking to rent 501 east kiowa know that it is attached to 27,25, and 23. The man came and peered into my living room window and when my husband told him he had the wrong house the man said "oh, it must be these houses across the street here" then proceeded to go sit on our vehicle for 2 hours.

Randy uses a number of tactics to get his way. He hides under the apartments in the crawlspace to listen to conversations in order to know what you are doing. He uses intimidation to get his way by putting 3 day notices on your door making you believe you are being evicted when nothing of the sort is happening. He will even threaten to call CPS if you have children to make you do what he wants you to do.

I hope anyone who reads this takes me and everyone else who have taken the time to write about Randy seriously. We are not crazy, we paid our rent, and we are all taking him to court some together and some separately but the outcome will be the same. Finally, people are standing against Randy Sigley instead of running away and he will not get away with these atrocities anymore.
