Slumlords! Shirley Vaine is a horrible landlord!!! She promises one thing and does the opposite; she is a LIAR. She breaks the lease agreements often (other neighbors told us as well as our findings). She broke our agreement to raise the rent; however taking her to court would waste my time, energy and money! She is a liar and has no regards for tenants. She has a few properties in the North County of San Diego, Ca that are NOT kept up to building standards. When its time to fix a major problem she tried to make us pay for it because we lived there. The problem was because the pipes were deteriorating from age... Words from the plumber. She makes things very very inconvenient when trying to collect your deposit (if you get one back!) she is now trying to mail our deposit to us to the old address; where we moved out of and is unwilling to mail to a POBox. Shirley was completely out of line to us as well as our helpers when moving. Randy (her husband) would tell us one thing and she will come and yell (or try too) at us saying opposite of what Randy agreed too!
Shirley is a complete Slumlord: (def) landlord who maximize profit by minimizing spending on property maintenance and in turn offers low rent rates to lure tenants who will not (or cannot) pay high rent.
Do NOT Rent from Shirley Vaine!!! Randy was very sweet but is ran over by Shirley.
