I found the apt ad on craigslist. I should of know it sounded to good to be true. After looking at the apt and agreeing to rent it I asked him if he would hold a check until payday. He gladly agreed, then deposited it that day. My acct became overdrawn.
When moving in he was constantly 'trying to help' me. Repeatedly I told him no thanks. He kept telling me he was single and had a female roommate.
I finally got all my stuff moved in. He would be constantly knocking on my door to... Get a drink of water (no water in the north end unit where he was working - so he said), bummin cigarettes and THEN sitting there like we were best of friends and complaining about all the other tenants. OMG!
He also told me I needed to plug in an extension cord out my back door for him to work next door - it turned into almost 2 weeks of him using my electricity. Without even a thank you, let alone him offering to pay for his share.
Upon my 6th day of being at my new adorable apt he came and bummed another cigarette and inquired about my pet deposit. I reminded him that he agreed to wait til the coming saturday noonish and I'd have it from him. My son was gonna wire my acct some money saturday morn. He says ok I'll see you friday then. "WHAT? No saturday!" I told him this 3 times before it registered with him. He finally agreed.
Then demanded the late fee of $18.75 for the pet deposit. NOW! So I gave the only money I had. It just happened to be all coins. I counted it twice while he stood there. Gave him the tin that I collected it in and he left.
OMG!
Then he comes back not even 10 - 15 minutes later saying I ripped him off and that it wasn't enough.'Yeah because you (he) took it.' Of which he denied, of course. Slams the tin down and stomps out.
Then he opens the door of my apt without knocking. And he starts raising his voice to me that 'this just ain't gonna work'.'You need to leave NOW! And get that damn dog out of here til you pay a pet deposit.' And leaves again. I'm in total shock. This all came out of left field.
I shake of the shock and walk out front to talk to him. He's already gone. I see a neighbor outside looking stunned too. After our (neighbor and me) conversation he did basically the same to them. He threatened to report them for child abuse and neglect when there was NONE! OMG!
OH! Lets not forget the accusation of both of us offering him drugs!
OMG! What a warped individual. I am disabled with a severe chronic rheumatory arthritis, so I am on alot of medicine. My Rx bottles are on my coffee table. He inquired about all the bottles and I explained my health problems and why I need my Rx meds. I guess in his little world that was me offering him my medication. I DON'T THINK SO!
And lets not forget the problems with getting the heat turned on in the apartment and Code Enforcement.
Due to my health problems I cannot have a cold apt/home. I told him this. I asked repeatedly 'when are you gonna get the boiler fired up?' The standing excuse was 'it takes 3 or 4 hours to do that and I have more important things to do than that.' We were expecting our first cold spell and told him of this upcoming event in a few days. His response (you're gonna love this) 'How dare you! I've been painting the outside of your apt and the other apts. And you're not even gonna compliment me on the good job?!?! You're gonna stand there and complain because you don't have any heat yet? Its not that cold yet anyways.'
I was done at this point.
So I called legal aid. Got Code Enforcements info from them and made a phone call. While speaking with Code Enforcement they asked his name and the apt address. I told them I can not read his last name on ANY of the lease (and I couldn't remember it at that time). Once I gave them the address of 501 East Kiowa (my address was 27 North Corona) I guess their computer had all the information on it already.
THEY TOLD ME HIS LAST NAME AND SPELLED IT FOR ME!
This was definitely not a good sign.
I could keep going on because sitting here seriously remembering more and more. BUT I believe you get what I am telling you. RANDY SIGLEY of FRONT RANGE MNGMT is a rippoff artist - scamlord — once an attorney (who CAN'T get his license to practice renewed-heard it thru the grapevine-due to his unethical practices).
So stay away from randy sigley an front range mngmt!
