Hybrid Inc Scammers
Deceptive Interview, false advertisement, unpaid work

It looks like Hybrid Inc will be changing their name again! Most recently known as Global Advertising, Elite, Taylormade (the list goes on), I have to agree with the other complaints that I have seen so far.

My first interview was about 5 minutes long and the "assistant manager" could not answer any of my questions in detail. I stated that I was looking for a Marketing, not Sales role with a salary in the mid 40's... Without hesitation she said I would get that.
There were supposedly only 5 positions to get filled, and guess what? I made it to the second round of interviews!

The next week, I arrived to a room filled with professionals that didn't know that they would be sold a dream. Employees were running in and out of the office, back and forth, and looked extremely busy. I felt like I was watching a scripted play.

After waiting close to 45 minutes for my meeting, I was told that I would be going with one of the account managers "in the field" to see what their day was like.
I should have worn flat shoes because for close to 3 hours, I was walking around a Home Depot watching the "account manager" walk up to customers to try and offer Hybrid's free home kitchen services. I was not surprised to see how many customers were not interested... And after 3 hours - no leads.

I thought to myself, this is definitely not what I want to be doing and somehow has nothing to do with Marketing.
During lunch, the "account manager" who got promoted in one week, started breaking down numbers of what the owner makes, and how that could be me one day... Selling dreams eh? I quickly knew this was a scam and going nowhere. What do I care what the owner makes? I ended it there and told her I was not interested. Thank God, otherwise we were headed back to Home Depot for another 4 hours to harrass customers.

She took me back to the office where the owner tried to see why I didn't want to run my own business just like he was.

I told him I was overqualified and not interested. Possibly this position could work for those naive and straight out of college, but for the most part, they run a crooked business. I asked to speak to someone who had been there for over three months and were "owners" but they were not available.

This is just a warning to the innocent job seekers that should not have to waste their time with companies like this...
