I was reviewing our Qwest phone bill and discovered a charge for service provider by ESBI ETS. Qwest informed us it was our long distance carrier. We have never authorized any long distance company to give us service.
Like many others we use our cell phones for long distance calls or use a long distance card that has no charges added to our phone bill. The only way I can figure that they got our number is from someone selling it on the Internet.
The only time I have ever listed a phone number on the Internet is when I have had some legal/government papers to fill out. I wonder who is benefiting from the kickback on these sales... Qwest or the government???
This is a total Rip Off and people need to pay close attention to their billing statements. I'm sure there a lot of people who just pay their bill monthly and never really look at the break down.
I have tried to contact this company but I am unable to make contact with anyone. They are always closed or no answer.
Everyone should be made aware of whats going on. It really makes me wonder how Qwest can allow this to happen to their customers.
