Stubhub, sent me a 3,998.85 dollar check and said i got till 29 sept. 2008 to claim my winnings

I Googled the co. And there was no company listed as to stubhub financial services & consultants, i have had this happen last week and my bank said this was a fraud, these companies send you a check so that they can get your account # and rob you
