Claim I won $57,000.00 and ask me to deposit for $3,988.95 into my bank account to cover tax fees

I called company to confirm claim winnings of $57,000. The company repeatedly said they were legit and I should deposit a check for $3,988.95 they sent me into my bank account. The StubHub representative Teresa Robinson also mentioned this is the security protocol in order to receive the winnings of $57,000.

I deposited the check on the evening of September 23 via a atm at Chevy Chase Bank, District Heights, Branch. After I process the fact that something was not quite kosher, I google the company StubHub and found that they have been reported as a scam to the usacomplaints.com site.

Therefore, I contacted Chevy Chase Bank on the morning of September 24 to verify receipt of the check and ask them not to process the check.
