Morrison Pontiac Dealership
Deceptive business practices and car spotting

In June Morrison Pontiac out of Jacksonville Fl advertized a tent sale being held in Lake City Fl. The radio advertizement as well as the flyer that was sent to my home said that no body was refused.
Push, pull or toe it in, bad credit or bankrup, no problem.
They gave us $2,000 for our old caddie and sold us a Intrepid 2001. We signed a contract, gave us a payment due date and we western unioned Gieco for full coverage insurance demanded by the dealer. Before they handed over our copy of the contract they stamped the yellow copy with a note that said, they are not a finance company and the car was to be returned to the dealer upon refusal of financing. When I inquired about why the contract was stamped as such, I was told that they do that to all the contracts and it did not pertain to us cause we were already approved. I was handed the keys to my new car and congradulated. My first payment was due July 21. During the weeks that passed the temp tag had run out and my payment book never came. I called the dealership and was told not to worry that I would recieve a payment book and they would send me the tags as soon as they got them and they would over night me another temp tag. Which I never got.
According to the tag and title dept... Morrison Pontiac never submitted the vin # or any other information required in order to recieve tags.in August the dealership sent a toe truck out to repo my new car. The driver said that the deal did not go through and that the dealership had called search international on me and reported the car stolen. I called the sherrifs office but the toe truck took off with all my personal belongings that were in the car befor they got to my home.
In September Morrison Pontiac sent me a letter stating that I was going to be charged $10 a day for storage of the old caddie that they took as a trade in if I did not come and get the vehicle.
Me and my family have been left without transportation, I have no money for attorney fees. The comptroller of banking and finance of Jacksonville has sided with the dealer ship and has called me, not my representative and tried to get me to take the old caddie back as restitution. I refused to do so, due to the sunshine laws that the dealership did not comply with and the fact that the caddie was no longer my vehicle. The title was sighned over to the dealership at time of purchase of the new car, they sent a toe truck out to my home to get the caddie and the title, in that same hour of the purchase of the new vehicle.
I have been decieved and lied to and put through hell. I have been left with out transportation and been misstreated by Morrison Pontiacs bad business practices. Attorney fees are expensive but I did find one that was willing to work with me. I have filed a suite for the $2000 pluss attorneys fees but have gotten no response.
All I wanted was the $2000 trade in value, so I could purchase a used vehicle, and find another job It is a dire need to have transportation, for me and my children but the dealership has been unresponsive even with the help representation.
Liers and cheats to the consumers should not be tollerated just because they are a large corporation that changes the name of the dealership to cover their asses. Yea, Morrison Pontiac is now
opporating under another name same address same people work there.
