This "company" offers employment through Yahoo Hot Jobs. They sent an email offering a position as a part or full-time courier for their company.
Along with the initial contact email coming from one Ashley Irwin (the HR Manager) they include an application in. Txt format you can fill out and email back to them.
This is the initial contact email:

Since then, we have flourished. We have gone from working out of a small Glendale-based office to being a multinational company comprised of a network that stretches across 15 countries worldwide. And our database of clients and agents is extensive and growing! But one thing hasn't changed over the years: Our customers' satisfaction comes first. We require 12 couriers who will act as 'mail forwarders' for our customers (large and small companies outside of the US). COURIER (FULL-TIME) Monthly Salary $1800 ($400 Gas Compensation)
- stay at home to receive packages and mail during working hours (9A.M. - 4P.M.) and report on each received package or envelope through the courier's control panel or email.
- receive packages with goods (usually clothes, electronics, jewelry) and envelopes with documents.
- repack the parcels following the instructions (will be sent to you via email once the shipping label is available for download).
- log into courier's control panel and download prepaid shipping label and print it (we do not provide with the printer and do not compensate the ink).
- attach the shipping label to the parcel and ship the parcel same day you received it.
- update courier's control panel with tracking number from the printed shipping label once you ship the package.

I filled out the information and emailed it back. Five days later I received a reply:
"Hello The,
I have received your application and now we are ready to start your employment.
Attached you will find the contract, w-4 form and i-9 form. These documents need to be read attentively, filled in and signed and emailed back to me or faxed to: 1 (818)-301-7065
You first salary will be paid to you 30 days after you ship your first parcel or documents.
Once again your duties:
1. Stay at home (or have someone to receive packages) during the working hours (9am-4pm Mon-Fri)
2. Receive parcels (parcels are shipped not in your name, but in our customer's name)
3. Check your e-mail through the day for the instructions on where to send the packages.
4. Download the prepaid shipping labels from our web-site and print them.
5. Download and print new invoice and replace the invoice from the package.
6. Ship packages from the nearest USPS office (4pm-5pm for full-time position and next day for part-time position).
7. Update Manager's Area with USPS tracking number once a package is shipped (by clicking the red "X" sign in your contorl panel).
First package will be shipped to you within 5 business days after I receive the contract from you.
As soon as I receive the contract your manager - Alexander Yosiff will e-mail your account information and will explain your first steps.
I will give you a call tomorrow to discuss the position with you and to answer any questions that may arise.

Included with this email was an employment agreement signed by a Jean Remy, a form I-9 and a W-4. This looked legitimate and again, like a good thing.
Something just didn't feel right though to me. Maybe it was the way their emails were worded and how spelling on their website was a bit off. I decided to start digging.
The BBB has this company listed with no complaints against them. Other than that, I could not find any information about the company. Nothing in Dun and Bradstreet or Hoovers. I then did a WhoIs check on the domain name and found the website registered to a Viviana Milano along with Adonis Irwin.
I emailed Ashley Irwin and asked who those people were and this was the response:
"Adonis Irwin is now at Shipping Department.
Viviana Milano is from our HR Department but is now on vacation until the 27th of August."
Again, it sounded legitimate. I then kept investigating and searched for Viviana Milano on Google and Yahoo. I found out that the name Viviana Milano has been used to register multiple domain names that are involved in fraud and scams.
While not actually having been ripped-off or defrauded, I wanted to share this information to prevent anyone from falling for this and providing the company with all kinds of sensitive information they can use to steal identities or access bank accounts.
Fortunately, I have not sent any further information to them. The only information they have is what I sent along with my application. Perhaps this was too much also.
