"ALL MANAGERS" Sam Crosby, Tom Burk, Randy, and DeeAnna From The Districk HR Rude, inconsiderate, untrustworthy, not responsible, no professionlism

I surely hope that someone out there will read this and report it to the right person. I was an employee of the Kroger company. I was a very loyal employee, and not to mention customer.

When I applied I was looking for a management postion. I received a call from the Asst. Store manager Randy wanting to do an interview. When I talked to Randy on the phone he discussed with me that at the present time there was no management postions available, But had a cashiers postion available. He stated to me that this would be a good way to get my foot in the door so to speak. Randy told me that they have a large turn over there and it wouldn't be long before a management postion would be available. Randy informed me that I would start out at 8.20 an hour and I would be working around 25 to 30 hours a week. I was delighted to take this opportunity knowing that I could prove myself and when an opportunity for management came available that They would have no doubt in promoting me knowing I has good work euthics, and very dedicated to my job. I came to work everytime I was scheduled, and worked over when I was asked.

At this point my hours was only 16 hours a week. Unfortantly they ended up cutting my hours to four hours a week. Due to a jealousy issue with a customer service rep. I worked for the company for aprox. A month and had planned on working for them for a long time But my opportunity was cut short when week after week pay day would roll around and I would not have a check. I went to the manager and Randy stated to me that he would look into it.

Then the next week came around and again NO CHECK. I was informed that Randy was on vacation and that Terri (HR) would find out what happened. AT this point it had been almost two months and STILL NO CHECK.

Being very upset I called the district HR and I spoke with Deeanna. DeeAnna was very rude to me, and I expressed to her I do not feel like this should have happened and since it did someone should care enough to fix the problem. DeeAnna informed me that I just needed to call back tomorrow since no one at Krogers could help her. I expressed to DeeAnna that I am tired of calling back tomorrow, or waiting till thrusday, and that I would like to speak to her surperviser. DeeAnna refused to allow me to speak to someone high up than her. I let DeeAnna know then I was just call back and ask for someone else and she informed me that if I called back she was call the police and get me for harrassment, then rudely hung up on me. I was so upset.

The next day I once again spoke to several diffrent employees from the Kroger company, once again no one was concerned and told me to check back tomorrow. The weekend came and went and I waited for a call that monday. NO call! On Tuesday I called and asked for the store manager Tom Burk. Once again he was out on vacation. Must be nice to go on vacation with your family. They transfered me to to Sam Crosby.

I spoke with Sam and was informing him of who I was, as soon as I got my name out Sam said I know whats going on and you will have to call back Thursday to see if your check is here. I informed Sam that I would like to talk to thier Dm or regionl Manager and he expressed to me that He was not going to allow that and that I just needed to quit getting upset. I told Sam that I understand it was not his fault that this has happened and that I was not talking it out on him, I just want to get to the bottom and hopes of getting this worked out to where I get paid. Sam once again was very rude to me and hung up on me.

My point in writing this is because my family has suffered from this, and Krogers could not even apologize. I asked the question: who's going to feed my family? Pay my bills when my power gets shut off? Pay my rent when I get kicked out?
NO ONE! It wasnt their check so they didn't care. As of today it has been over 2 months and I still have no check. I am hoping to get this out their and someone can help me.
