Complaint / Review
Citi Mortgage
Unlawful foreclosure ST. Louis

I was stupid, well there were legal matters that i didn, t know. I put trust in my mortgage company to work with me to help or assist me in keeping my home/mortgage. I went thru a forebearance agreement, los-medigation charged with attorney fees, re-installment fees, late fees and that damn fore - bearance agreement for the first 4mths my house payment double this went on for 18 mth to 2yrs with at least 600 to $900 added to my house payment, according to credit reports we never was caught up on payments, always behind.in a forebearance agreement you are suppose to make a large payment wich will cover your current payment and your pass due payments. Like i was saying earlier this went on for about 2 yrs. I can remember adding up my receipts at one time and i came up with a total of $40,000 plus including installation fees to get the forebearance agreement started. Thru all this my credit end up being worse my truck was repossed, and finally i came to realize that my sanity, my health, family and marriage meant more to me. I was paying out alot of money for nothing and my family was missing out on alot. I was stressing out, i was working more hours, missing out on my kids school events, i could not take it anymore, at this time 2001 thru 2003 basically everything i made went to citi-mortgage to dig my grave, needless to say they foreclosed on my house. If anyone reading this has gone thru this are know someone that has, let your story be heard before some mortgage company push them or their family in a grave thats not by design no what i mean.
