After applying for a loan over the internet, I was contacted by Charles Pearson of Harbor Lending Group. He told me that the amount of $5,000 I requested had been approved. He also told me that because of the type of loan it was I would need to send a payment of $703.56 upfront to serve as collateral for the first 6 months. This amount would be applied to the amount borrowed and my first payment would not be until January.
After so much needing a loan, all this sounded really great, and I was really excited that I would finally be able to pay off some debt, but worried about getting the money to send because of my monthly income. After finally getting the paper work filled out and faxed back and the money wired, I was told the money would be in my checking account the following week.
On the morning that the funds were to be deposited, I received a call from Paul Jenson saying that they were problems and I would need to send an additional $700.00. I told him that would not be possible and just refund the money I had already sent. He told me that he would, but would not be until June 30. I told him I needed the money back way before that, but he insisted that he could not before the 30th. I finally looked the company up only to find "Ripoff". I don't look to get the money back.
