In October I purchaed a Windstorm vacuum from an infomercial. The next day I discovered they charged my account for full value instead of increment payments. I called, but kept being referred everywhere until I only received more phone numbers that had automated messages, and eventually disconnections.
I filed complaints with the NY BBB, my local news authorities, and the Attorney General's office that the BBB contacted as well, all to no avail. The BBB did get in touch with the company. IGIA promised me in August to refund my money shortly... It is now April and I've decided to keep pursuing my refund. I've started the process all over with the BBB, and I'm going as far as I can, contacting the Attorney General, Consumer Affairs, whatever I can.
