I ordered a Windstorm vacuum at the end of November. I cancelled the order in January. I should have received a refund of $411.67. I sent a complaint to the BBB in March. Windstorm's response to the BBB was that the refund was in process.
May I emailed the BBB again. Windstorm's response was, "We do apologize for the delay, our refund will post shortly to your account." I did not receive the refund.
August 7 I emailed [email protected]. The response was, "Please be advised that a check will be mailed to you. Once the check i print out a customer rep will contact you via e-mail or telephone. I apologize for the delay on this matter." I did not receive the refund.
November 27 I filed a complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs in LA County. November 30.2006 Windstorm sent me a letter, carbon copied to the Department of Justice advising me that a check would be mailed to me.
In July of I again contacted the BBB of New York. They were unable to assist me because they could not contact Windstorm.
I also contacted the Public Inquiry Unit of the Department of Justice of California.in September of they resonded that they were unable to assist me.
I have never received a refund.
