Bought a tranny in Oct 07, took 12 weeks to receive. Put trans in lasted 600 miles, made a lot and I mean a lot of phone calls[no one ever calls back]. Finally talked to owner he asks what the scan code reads [torque clutch solenoid malfunction]so he sends me a new solenoid makes problem worse. I take truck to trans shop cost me $80.00 for them to tell me trans is junk[out $80.00 more for synth trans fluid]. Send trans back to PRT, 3 weeks later receice trans cost me $500.00 more for removal and install of new trans, still waiting for core refund from original transaction in Oct 07. Finally get ahold of Frank[million phone calls later]Fed 8,08 tells me original trans damaged [BS] no core refund, now Im out another $350.00. Never and I repeat never buy anything from phoenix remanufactured transmissions.
