Back in April (of 2006) I located a check that was issued to a former employee of theirs, that I had cashed in Oct. Of 2005. I had misplaced the check, and just located it again. I had my son call them BEFORE I deposited it into my account. Jessica said that due to Hurricane Katrina, she had no records and the check would probably not clear her bank, but, if I would send the check to her, she would write a new one!
I called to verify, with Jessica, what to do. She then told ME to send the check back to her and when she received the check, she would then issue a new one to replace it. She told me to write down all the info. (My name, address, etc...) and put it in with the check. I made a copy of the check, just in case something happened to the original! I have talked to Jessica on several occassions about this check and she still has not sent a check, nor does she intend to!
My son called her and she informed him that her BOSS, Robert, who I now know, is her husband, and her accountant, said NOT to pay it or worryabout it! This was a check that I cashed for an employee, that I expected to cash or deposit to my account. I do not owe this company anything! I never worked for them, they never did any work for me! Jessica told me she would make the check good, I took her word for it, she LIED to me to get the check back into her hands, and used Hurricane Katrina as her crutch! She got the check back and now she won't pay me what she owes me! She claims she never received the check, but, I made a copy and had it hand delivered to her, she still won't pay! I turned them in to the BBB and I also wrote a letter to The State of Louisiana, Department of Justice, Charles C. Foti, Jr. Attorney General's Office!
If anyone out there knows anything else I can do to get back MY money, PLEASE let me know! Once she got the check back, she got real ugly with me and hung up on me when she found out it was me! I should be the one getting ugly, but, I'm a Christian, I PRAY for her.
