I responded to an add in the Shopper 800-757-1037 for data entry. A guy returned my call and I bought the software for medical billing.
I installed the software as instructed and reviewed all the information. After reviewing the information there is another number to call for technical support 800-605-3083 and they are supposed to "activate" your software so that you can begin your home based business as an independent claims processor.
I called the support number and left my name and number. A lady returned my call and said she needed to give me a test over the phone. She proceded to ask me questions about what I read and she yelled at me if I did not answer the question to her liking. I have never been spoken to so rudly in my life! She spoke to me like I was stupid!
So because I did not answer the question to her liking (I didn't get the answer wrong) she said I would have to call back and try again and that there would be different questions. After all that rudeness I knew something wasn't right. So that's when I googled in the phone number in the add and low and behold there was the same number under the complaint.
I don't have an address other than what was on my package for the software. It's probably not even legit. I am going to contact the paper I found the add in and tell them it's a scam.
I am going to try to get some more info. Out of them because they do not know that I am on to them yet.
