The Company sent me a lower priced futon for a higher priced version which I paid for. It is stated that the mattress was supposes to be 7 inches thick, yet it wasn't even 4 inches!
Its also ridiculously rated as a "five star" product. I would like to know who rated them!
I left several phone messages with their customer service. Not one was returned. I sent several emails, a rude and short email was sent back. Sent several more to explain the situation, no other response from them.
I am now trying to resolve the situation with my credit company. However credit company says since the mattress is in my possession, they most likely can not refund me. To return the mattress costs more than $200
Cottonwood futon will not only NOT take their defective and fraudulent product back, they hide behind their cowardly safe haven of "internet business" and simply avoid their customers by not responding to them.
They have hundreds of complaints with the Better Business Bureau and over the net. It is stated that the company has ONE employee. ONE coward: Dan Stone, most likely rated 5 stars, well according to cottonwood futon that is.
