Someone evidently got ahold of numerous credit card data and has begun charging quite a few cards for small amounts, for example $4.95 during the month of October. When calling the Louisiana phone # by the referrenced item on the credit card statement, a clever recorded message is played. This could also be a pre-curser to probe and find which credit card data is good, in order to possibly attempt to buy or charge much more later on. What to do: Call the issuing credit card company, report the fraudulant posting, have it removed, AND perhaps place a fraud alert on that particular credit card. Sounds like this could have initially been the work of a hacker. Make sure you watch & protect that particular credit card from this day forward.
