Misrepresentation: 2 car owner not 1, stuck spark plug not hard to get to

In May my husband went Johnson Motor Co in Dyersburg to look to buy a vehicle. The manager said I will sell you this van, it is the owners and she has drove it to Ohio several times and gets good gas milage. It is a one owner and in real good shape. He said he had just changed the oil and the spark plugs, all but one that he could not get to. My husband thought he was talking about maybe it was hard to reach.

My husband put $1,000 down on the vehicle and $300 sales tax. We have paid 2 payment of $150 each.

Not even 2 weeks after we had the van we had to put it in the shop cause the front barren went out, and had to replace the whole thing. About the last week in june or first week in July, it started missing and gas milage wasnt too good.

My husband got plugs and went to change them. Well, he found the one the guy said he couldnt get to. It wasnt that he couldnt reach it, it was that he couldnt get it loose. It broke off with my husband. The tip was still in there. I took it to the car lot and told him it was stuck when you sold it and he said they would fix it and put it on my note cause they said it would be $300 to pull the head and i didnt have the money. They kept it a week then i called and they said they would have to pull both heads and it would be $600 up front.

Well i dont have that kind of money. It has got me and my kids stranded 2 times and today i got stranded on the highway for 2 hours in 104 degree weather. I called them they said they found out today that their insurance wouldn't cover for their mechanic to do that kind of work and they dont have the tools. And told me two shops to take it too. One said they wouldnt touch it. They other said $500 which I dont have.

I still owe $4.500 on this van. I called the owner her name is Michelle and asked her if I could just trade it and she said that they require people to just about have their vehicle paid off before they trade. I know it was "as is no warranty" but I found something the other day on internet that say that, that only stand if there is no misrepresentation.

Well, I found out today that the owner of the car lot was not the only owner of the van, like it made it to sound to be. And the fact that he made my husband think he just couldnt reach the spark plug. I have been told just let the vehicle go back but I will be left with nothing even though that is just about what I have now. I have no money down for another vehicle. Does anybody have any suggestions.
