I answered mr. Dooleys ad in the news paper and fell victim to the same scams i am finally seeing on usacomplaints.com. I was told before i could sell these vacuums - i had to sit through 4 days of traning in a room with no air conditioner, one day we were only given one 5 min break, and one day we werent even offered time to go get lunch!!! After being told over and over again to not ask questions just listen, i should have realized I was the one being sold, not these vacuumes.
After the 4 day training period i was told that i had to set up 5 appts. With family and friends (at the time i was hired, i was assured appointments would be set up for me!) I ended up selling 2 vacuumes one to my mother and 1 to my mother in law. My mother bought the first and financed - carl told us if it was a bad credit deal we would only recive $50.00, insted of the 550.00 we were promised for comission for every sale! When I came in the next week carl SHOWED me a copy of my step dads credit report! (doesnt this violate privacy laws!) and how did he get that in the first place!?? He was never authorized to run a credit report, it was ran through a individual finance company, who i contacted and they told me they DO NOT GIVE THEM A COPY - only a YES OR NO answer as to whether they were financed or not. When i brought up this info i was simply asked to leave the office, and he would mail me my paycheck (for 50.00)
My mother just bought a 2100.00 vacuume from me! I feel horrible, but i all i did was belive what i was told. If this is such an amazing product mr dooley that you belive so strongly in why you feel you have to fool your employees to sell it. Oh and i also belive i would have been told that it was a "bad credit" deal no matter who i had sold it to, further more mr. Dooley tried to hide some of the contracts i had signed and lied to me when i tried to recive them.
This man is a liar, and a scam artist! Beware of this company and its decietfulness.
