My husband got a call from the Ameritrust Financial company. They said he could be elligable for a $2000.00 credit card. All they needed was his social and bank account information. They needed all that information to process and to do a credit check. The person he was talking to told him he could use the card anywhere they accepted a credit card.
Then my husbands cell phone lost signal, so he called back, and got a different person. This person told him Ameritrust Financial would have to take $200 out of our checking account in order to acctivate the card. My husband then figured out it was a rip-off and told them to take off all of his information.
Ameritrust Financial said they could not do that, because they already started processing. My husband called and got hung up on twice. I called and couldn't get through to nobody.
Finally, my husband got a hold of someone that was suppose to be in charge. He said for us to call back Monday (which is today) and he was take all my husbands information off their system. Well, i have yet to get a hold of anyone. I can't get past the voice response system.
