I bought a car from Donna's Rent A Car when I was having trouble getting my credit started after having a baby. I was renting a car from the business until I could get a down payment for one.
I had a some Dodge for $4,000.00. I asked if the car was fit to buy and she assured me that it was. I needed the car to drive to work and other places. I drove the car for one week and it started leaking.
I took it back to her and told her that it was leaking. She told her mechanic to fix the leaks to get the car running. He did not do all of the work. He told me that there was nothing wrong with the car.
I drove the car one more week and all of the water holes her corroded. I was traveling to Ohio from Chattanooga one night and all of the water ran out of the car and a truck was behind me.
No lights were working on the car to let me know anything and the car just stopped running totally. The truck had to move to the next lane to avoid hitting me and the car costed off to the side of the road.
I had a mechanic pick the car up and take it to his shop and he said the motor had locked and asked me how long had I had the car.
I told him and he said take it back it is a rip off and that there was no reason for anyone to sell anyone a car in that shape. He said that there was nothing he could do or would do because the person who sold the car knew better than to sell it. He told me to make them come pick it up and he would tell them that himself.
I told Donna's Rent A Car what had happened and to pick up the car. They picked the car up and a refused to fix it and they refused to replace. It was trash that she was selling on her lot for $4,000.00 dollars.
I want the world to know that she had and has the nerve to get a lawyer Mayfield and Lester to work a case for me to pay for it.
I paid $10.00 a month to keep from causing harm to Donna who was the owner and she had them to ask me to go to court and I did and she pretend that she didn't know me in the court room, changed her name, I didn't know her name other than the Donna part.
They then said that I was not in court and it was dismissed. They lied. I am in the Army Reserves in Civil Affairs unit in Knoxville and I don't even have the heart to defend this country with business people like that.
There has to be a way to get rid of these type of people in America who don't care about the safety of vechiles in America and the people driving them.
I want her business lienses revoked from selling cars. She is commenting fraud by insurance and making business deals that she can't back up.
