To whom it may concern: To comment on your test a spot instructions...
I would like to take this oppertunity to tell you that Epil Stop & Spray is the worst product I have ever tried. I bought this product a couple of weeks ago from a store and did percisely what the directions told me to do. I washed and dried a small area on the lower portion of my leg and and applied Epil Stop & Spray to cover in a white foam. I waited 3 minutes and wiped off a tiny spot and the hair did not remove. So, (as the instructions said) I left the rest of for an additional 2 minutes (totaling 5 minutes), again I wiped off a tiny spot and the hair still did not remove completely (small did come off this time). As the instructions indicated that you can leave the product on up to 8 minutes, I left a small area covered with the product for an additional 2 minutes (making a total of 7 minutes)... This time it was removed completely. I was so amazed. There was no problem what so ever.
As the instuctions said to wait 24 hours before trying the product again, I did. The next day, I again tried a small amount on my lower ankle on my other leg for 7 minutes and had no problems. So, I sprayed both legs (from high-mid thigh to the bottom of my ankles) until they were covered with a white foam. After 5 minutes I tested a small area on my thigh and the hair did not remove, so I decided to leave it on for 7 minutes (as it took that long the other times). About 15 seconds before the 7 minutes were up, both my legs started to burn... Burn so bad that I could not stand on them as I was in agony. Even the worst sun burn could not compare to this burning. I immediately jumped into the bathtub and using a towel I flushed the product off of both legs with clear cold water (as indicated in the instructions, crying in pain and freezing. Once the product was completely off of my legs... I noticed that my legs were bright red and the all around both knees and down the back of my thighs and calves were bleeding.
This product burned the skin right off of my legs!!! I could not walk for the first 2 hours after using your product and was in pain for the first week. The only thing that helped was Cortazone creams. To this day, I still have scabs on the back of my knees that still hurt once in a while.
I will never recommend Epil Stop & Spray to ANYONE and if asked about this product, I will tell them my story and the agony I went through.
Please do not use this product.
