Don't be fooled by the lovely pictures on this apartment complex's website. Somerset at Shiloh is an absolute dump! Sure, your apartment might be nice if they clean it before you move in. But how about living among a bunch of obnoxious slobs who don't care about anyone but themselves? Enjoy seeing and smelling their garbage that they leave strewn all around the complex every day, not to mention the bags of trash people leave outside their doors for days at a time.
Enjoy taking walks through the complex, but take care to not step in the many piles of dog feces fellow residents leave behind as they are too selfish and lazy to clean up after their pets. Oh yeah, your downstairs neighbor may have a 10-foot python that he takes out to the front of the building to roam free in the common areas. Hope that doesn't bother you! Oh, and security! The gated entrance would be nice, if it worked. It is either open all the time, or unauthorized vehicles rudely tailgate residents into the complex without proper access. What is the point of even having a gate? And to top it off, maintenance doesn't even bother to CALL as instructed before entering your apartment to fix one of the MANY issues you will have if you live here.
I suppose the instructions to call first are too much for these dimwits to handle. Also enjoy the sound of some dimwad's car alarm which goes off at least twice a day, usually in the wee hours of the morning, and KEEPS going off until this shmuck goes outside to turn it off (IF he is home when it happens, otherwise it keeps going off for hours). Enjoy the beautiful swimming pool - that is, if you do not mind trapsing through piles of cigarette butts strewn around the patio, or if you do not mind Big Bertha and her 7 illegitimate children who think the pool belongs soley to them, causing a ruckus, peeing in the pool, etc. This has all been brought to management's attention - what have they done about any of this? Absolutely nothing! They could not care less! This place is a filthy dump, not the "luxury apartment" that it may appear to be based on their false advertising. Think twice before signing a lease here!
