My friend gave me a flyer he had in his windsheild it stated to claim a 400 dollar a week basepay. I checked it out and got the interveiw there. It turned out to be a kirby salesman position. I had purchased the same kirby i was sellin about a year prior to my employment with this company i went thru a non payed 3 day orientation for 3 hours a nite which wasnt bad.
I worked for this company for about 5 months and made a little bit of money. The base pay claims to pay u 400 dollars upon completion of 15 shows a week and u can have a max of 4 shows a day but whut they dont tell u is u have to compete with all the other dealers in the van.
And it is hard as heck to get 3 shows a day none the less you start at 9 in the morning and usually dont get home till midnight and some days you dont even make any money if u dont sell well any ways the point of this is i sold a machine in jan of 06 and the way the contract with the people was written i was to get payed from this particualr sale in the beginning of april. As she had post dated a check in full and had also put a down payment on it.
Well i kept in contact with the company as to get paid and make sure they send my check to the right place. Well come to find out i had been callin and callin and the human resource manager had told me the check was cashed and the secretary didnt know what to do. I called the owners wife and she had told me that the lady had to put it on a payment plan of like a hundred dollars by which i should ahve gotten payed on it still yet because she had the gen kirby under neath hers and had purchased it the year before with good credit what happened this time around??? So in thus conclusion i am out 300 dollars because of a greedy millionaire. Oh and not to mention i was homeless at the time i quit working for him. He would have the guts to do that to a homeless guy that is sad
