According to the company named above I applied for some type of prepaid credit card (I did not)... If I did I would have received a confirmation e-mail from these folks. They did take $159.95 out of my husbands checking acct, an account which I am not on. I did not give them his information. After speaking with them yesterday... I copied the online chat to a word document. It took me two days to get in touch with the online help desk chat and to get the so-called refund form they sent me. I have come to the conclusion that this company is a fraud especially after a friend advised that I go to usacomplaints.com. When I did type in their name I found a lot of complaints and they were all like mine. I can only assume that they got access to the checking account information through our paypal account. I had been getting these fraudulent paypal update e-mails. Otherwise I have no idea how they would have gotten the information. They also said they sent me confirmations of which I have none from either the Acclaim company or EDP Reporting. Just an FYI, we are going to dispute this with the bank.in the conversation I copied the operator indicated that I could turn the form in at anytime which is not true if you read the form. These folks are basically stealing 59.95 as they will not return the full amount. They will only refund $100.00. These people need to be stopped!
I did turn this over to our local investigative news reporter so hopefully we can get them stopped!
